I am motivated to start this channel to share experiences of buyers of New Cars. I have personally observed that several car dealerships engage in dubious selling practices. They lack transparency in collecting various charges. In many cases the charges are inflated on the rate list offered. But later – during negotiations – customers are returned back the overcharged amount partially in the form of DISCOUNT! The remaining amount is passed on to the sales people involved in the deal as a sales commission or as a performance reward.
Hope that viewers of this channel – who are in the process of buying a new car – will be able to save thousands of rupees (at least Rs. 20,000) if they encounter dealers having misleading prices. They may also confront with such sellers even if they have bought their cars recently paying more than the fixed statutory charges.
